Collectively I think we can all agree that 2019 was kind of a hot mess. But on a personal scale it was both busy and beautiful.
I started the year in a very dark and angry place. I struggled with finding a new job. Daycare frustrations wore me down. Physically and mentally I was pretty down on myself. Change is a continuous process, but I’m ending the year in a much more positive space.
There are plenty of challenges I’m carrying into 2020 – toddler mom, starting a new job, the constant struggle to remind myself that I am good enough – but I have a new hope I’ll strive to hold onto.
So cheers to 2020. May you bring good family, good friends, and good fortune to us all.
